Uncut Clothes came about from a simple need to have a new Black Jazz T Shirt as mine was falling apart. Being unable to source one(at the right size) in Tokyo I decided to design and print one for myself. While learning the basics of how to do that I thought why not design a few and it all grew from there.
The Name Uncut Tokyo comes from the street photography work that I do here and you will find some photography shirts here too; uncut cut meaning raw and justa reflection of what I see day to day my life in the endless city of Tokyo.
The designs here are from a lifetime of music love, travel, book and film culture with some Tokyo-City stuff thrown in for good measure! I hope you'll find somwething here that you like; art reflects the life around us, our loves and our passions...
The T-shirts we use have been tried and tested in my house.They wash up well and hold their shape and print well.
We use Printfuls DTG printing and fufillment service so your T Shirt will be printed in a facility closest to you for quicker delivery. Some of our products are available only in Europe so will take longer to Japan and Asia and conversely our Japanese products will take longer to Europe and North America..
